Meldreth Manor Children's Home (December 2024)
Teacher, Early Years (those very little children!):
Thank you for inviting us to watch your choir concert this morning, Daisy class really enjoyed it.
Skills Tutor, Adult Service:
Thank you! That was an amazing performance, it was so lovely to look around and see all the faces of our young people enjoying it.

We all enjoyed the Ensemble choir who performed beautifully today. Just looking at some of our residents it was wonderful to see such engagement; B had a smile on his face the whole time and was singing softly, M was intently looking at the choir for periods of time, smiling and rocking in her chair – wonderful.
Head of School:
Choir was phenomenal.
Three other staff ..... an Administrator, a Teaching Assistant and a Support Worker (just finishing her 2 week induction training) all spoke with me (independent of each other) to say how emotional they had felt listening to us and watching the reactions of our young people.
I am always grateful that you give your time to us ..... it really is very special 😊
Lanercost Priory Church (May 2024)
“It all went off very well. There was a respectable audience (despite the atrocious weather) and they clearly really enjoyed the concert. The acoustic of the Priory really suited both the two choirs and the clarinet. I really enjoyed the concert, but also really loved meeting with all of them – such lovely, warm and gifted people. I think and hope that they enjoyed their visit – we certainly did. Please pass on our thanks for such an enriching experience. And thank you to you (meaning Jo Porter of Sound Escapes) for bringing them to us.”
St Mary's Church Potton April 2024
On behalf of our vicar and parishioners please pass on our grateful thanks to The Ensemble of Friends and your musical director for a splendid concert on Saturday. I’m sorry that the audience was so small but those that stayed away did not know what they were missing. We felt that there was something for all tastes in your comprehensive programme and the standard of singing was outstanding. I trust that the choir enjoyed singing in our church and that you would be willing to join us again in the future.
